The app builds its colors from the blue with Material's dynamic color (the "vibrant" scheme), and on Android 12 and later it takes them from the wallpaper by default. The typeface is Google Sans Flex.

Pingogram is an open-source, third-party Telegram client for Android, written from scratch in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose on top of TDLib, Telegram's official client library. You sign in with your existing Telegram account and keep all your chats; what changes is the interface, which follows Google's Material 3 Expressive design: Google Sans Flex type, expressive shapes and spring motion, dynamic color from your wallpaper, and layouts that adapt from phones to tablets and foldables. There are no analytics, no ads and no telemetry. Pingogram is free software under the GPL-3.0-or-later, made by Kyra Labs, and is not affiliated with Telegram. It needs Android 8.0 or newer and is in beta.

Using the name and logo

  • Use the logo files as they are: don't change their colors or proportions, add effects, or rebuild the wordmark in another typeface.
  • Leave space around the logo at least as wide as the height of the mark's speed lines.
  • Put the dark logo on dark backgrounds and the regular logo on light ones.
  • Don't combine the Pingogram logo with Telegram's logo or artwork, and don't suggest that Pingogram is made or endorsed by Telegram. If you mention Telegram, say that Pingogram is an independent, third-party Telegram client.
  • You may use the screenshots to write about Pingogram, as long as you don't edit them in a way that changes what the app does.
